Picking up speed!
Now that Christmas is over the wedding planning is picking up momentum. Got some great presents for Christmas from my parents and my future in laws contributed $500 to the wedding fund. So excited that we will be booking the reception room (room below the library in Sylvester) as soon as January rolls around! My dress should be here mid January and my engagement pics / rehearsal / honeymoon dress too. Everything is slowly coming together! Figured out what kind of flowers I want for the bouquets (hydrangeas) and have some good ideas of table arrangements for the reception. Have to work on the menu though, still have no clue what we will be serving. Cannot wait for the showers and parties! Well that is all the information I have for now. Stay tuned for further updates :)

Details, details, details!
So the wedding planning is still ongoing. Got measured for my dress last night and will be ordering it tonight. Designed Save the Date postcards and will be ordering them also. Have registered items that we want/ need at Walmart, Target, and Amazon. Been looking for necklace designs for the brides maids. Whew, I have been busy the past few days!
Stay tuned more to come :)

I am getting married!!!!
Holy cow! I cannot believe it, I am getting married!!! March 30, 2013!!!! I am so excited, overwhelmed, nervous, and so much more!!!
I am truly happy with Joe and cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with him! He makes me happier than I have ever been before.
I am in the beginning stages of planning the wedding. I have had a list of ideas that I have compiled over the years that will come in handy. I have found my dress and will need to order it very soon. :) My Pinterest Board is getting full of great ideas for the reception and ceremony ideas. I cannot wait to use some of them!
The really hard part is going to be the invitation list. The church I want to get married in only seats about 150 and between the two of us I am sure we have more friends and family than that. However, I cannot see myself getting married anywhere else. It is a beautiful 126 year old church which speaks to my great love of old buildings and history.
Well there will be more blog posts to come! Stay tuned!

My Bucket List!
I have been contemplating my bucket list for a while now. It all began after watching the movie A Walk to Remember. In the movie Jamie, played by Mandy Moore, has a list of things she would like to do before she dies. I also loved the movie The Bucket List . Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson’s characters had such an awesome time checking off their bucket list so I know I will have a blast doing the same. The items on my list are in no specific order, instead they are just random thoughts I have had for quite sometime.

Just me!
I have read quite a few blogs of my friends or just blogs about things that interest me. I even started a blog on wordpress last year for my masters class but never remembered to post anything to it. This will be a new adventure for me that I hope works well with my goals. I am a random person who likes random things. I am also a very simple person who enjoys the small simple things in life. So here it goes. I am boldly going where I have never gone before.
