Joe's Glass Insulator Christmas Tree

My wonderful husband has gotten bit by the creative bug... A few months ago he found an old telephone insulator at a thrift store. At first he had the idea of making it into the top of a light house he would construct. That idea never really came to fruition but this past weekend he formed a new idea. We were walking around Hobby Lobby and came upon some battery operated Christmas lights. Joe decided to buy a pack and stuff them in the telephone insulator.

He wanted to add it to Pinterest and thus this blog post was formed :)

These are all the supplies and materials we used to make this light.

First, the lights need to be stuffed into the telephone insulator.

Next, the the battery pack has to be attached to the bottom to hold the lights in.

Finally, the sparkly garland or a wreath goes around the base to hide the battery pack.

Tada, a pretty light!

MR & MRS MOORE

Well we did it! We got married and went on our EPIC Honeymoon.

We had a blast on the cruise and so much fun being little kids at Disney World.

We have been back in the real world for about a month and a half and everything is going swimmingly. We learn new things about each other everyday and are enjoying it.

He is my best friend and I am such a lucky girl!!

Showers, stuff, and dresses!!!

We have gotten so much from the three showers so far. The Bryant Drive shower was great and today the ATC Business Office gave me another. The house is filling up with boxes and kitchen gadgets. We now have a total of 4 crock pots. We both had one and now we have gotten 2 6qts. We will be able to cook for an army! Got the call today that my dresses are ready to be picked up from the seamstress! I cannot wait to try them back on and for them to fit! In just a little over two weeks I will be walking down the isle in my beautiful dress towards the man of my dreams! Super excited!!!

Full steam ahead

Well I received my dress a few weeks ago and it is gorgeous! Only problem is the straps are too big so it is at the seamstress getting fixed. I can't wait to get it back! Planning has been going slow for a few weeks but I anticipate the momentum to pick up quickly. I still need to look for flowers and figure out a lay out for the library banquet room. My friend Melissa is working on the invitations and the Save the Dates are going out next week. Still have no idea where we will be going for the bachelorette party or when any showers will be. We decided to take a friend of ours up on their offer of their time share in Freeport, Grand Bahamas. Looks like we will be staying a week on the island! Yay! My cup runneth over from all the great friends and family we have helping us out. Joe's cousin is going to cater the reception which is awesome! Now I just need to find shoes to wear and find Mama's and Jaclyn's dresses. My stress meter is still at low but I have a feeling the closer we get to the date the higher it will rise so prayers are needed. Well that is all the news I have for now another update will be coming soon. TTFN!
